Kirsten Baca M.D.

Dr. Kirsten Baca is a board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain specialist trained at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Massachusetts General Hospital through Harvard Medical School. She is dual board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology.

She is the founder and medical director of Glacier Peak Pain Care, where she leads a multidisciplinary, high-volume interventional practice focused on evidence-based, opioid-sparing care. Her clinical work emphasizes precision-guided procedures and multimodal treatment strategies tailored to complex chronic pain conditions.

Dr. Baca is an active leader in organized medicine, serving on the Board of Directors of the Ogden Surgical Medical Society (Past President, 2024), the Davis County Medical Society (Secretary), and as a delegate to the Utah Medical Association House of Delegates. She has also contributed to peer-reviewed research during her training, including collaboration with Ben Carson.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Baca is a busy mother of five. Her favorite hobby is keeping up with her children’s pursuits—often joking that she lives vicariously through them while striving to be a better human every day.
